Last week saw the publication of my first book, "The Secret History of the Seaside Grands". It is full of stories about these grand seaside hotels which were the height of luxury in their heyday.
I was surprised, when I started the research for the book, that their stories could be so much more than just a history. They have al been linked to some of the greatest events in our country's history and have served as a backdrop to some astonishing scandals.
I am now ploughing on with my second book and two chapters in I have not been disappointed with how the "Yorkshire Royals" are proving to be just as rewarding!
